The profession of bodyguard has been essential from time immemorial. The earliest mention of bodyguards is in the book " Black arrow "by Robert Luis Stevenson in 1888.

What are bodyguards, what should they be and how to understand the reasons forcing one people to risk their own lives in order to guard the others life?

Experts are unanimous in their opinion. Even one bodyguard will be capable of keeping the client from troubles if he is a professional. The bodyguards having a big practical experience are able to cope with such kinds of work. Any short-term courses cannot replace basic training. So far there is not a person being able to become a professional for 7-14 days.

Since 2002 in the Security Agency "TYPHOON" there is a special branch called a service of bodyguard. It consists of the most prepared security staff. All bodyguards take special training, a multistage preparation at our security school "TYPHOON".

The remarkable peculiarity of all "TYPHOON" bodyguards is a combination of the Ukrainian and foreign work experience in securing very important persons (VIP). Their major principle of work is a prevention of threat, instead of a struggle against it. The key task of a bodyguard is not a fight or a death from a bullet. To prove the idea we can appeal to a martial arts principle «Victory comes without fight».

A good bodyguard is not the one who has got into a mess for many times, but the one who has managed to foresee, avoid and protect the client. There is a professional saying which perfectly characterizes the situation described, it runs the following: «the best problem of the client is the one he will never have».

Bodyguard is more "exclusive" part of the agency work. It undergoes even more rigid, specific system of assessment. People’s life and health are priceless, accordingly their protection requires special skills and special training. It’s not only about strong muscles, but also a keen wit, a quick eye, a good command of foreign languages and attractive appearance.
